You could also suggest Jurassic World. . .since that is the manlier option, but, spy is actually pretty hilarious due to all the awesome performances from side characters. Had a real solid homage to old comedy spy flicks too.

Miami Vice (film)

I know it'd old. Let me first say I LOVE just about anything Michael Mann does. The Last of the Mohicans, Heat, The Insider, Collateral are all some of my favorite movies. The plot itself is pretty shitty, Colin Farrell was completely miscast, but anytime my guy Mike gets behind the camera I get all hot and bothered. You get it all, choppers, go fast boats, super fast cars, women. The whole nine. Take it at face value, see the film, and enjoy yourself.

did we just become best friends?

probably

Think there are a bunch of people here that are supermann fans. Did anyone see blackhat?

McFarland USA was very enjoyable last night. I can't remember the last Disney movie I've purchased, but it was worth it.

Spy stands up great without bringing gender into it at all.  That said, I am not a sexist misogynist, though, so maybe I had a different experience than others.   :dunno:

It was women doing good comedy.

I think you're in the minority here...Having grown up through the first three, I thought it was a great movie and a great way to reboot the franchise.

Confession: I had no idea there were multiple Jurassic Park movies after the first one.

I actually enjoyed Lost World a lot. Two T-Rexs rip a guy in half! The Raptors in the wheat field? That was nuts! The T-Rex loose in New York? What more could you ask for!

Is this the fourth or fifth one? I've def seen the first three, but I can't remember if there was a fourth.

I'll never forget seeing the first one as a kid in the theater on opening night. That brachiosaurus was a seminal moment in movie history. They all sucked pretty hard after that. Lost World definitely sucked. Btw, the JP book by Michael Crichton is really excellent.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.
