Jesus, fanning. You worry too much about other people's opinions.

Saw Pitch Perfect 2 this weekend. Yeah, I said it.  :comeatme: And it was good too!
Also, if watching a bunch of hotties perform mash up beats is wrong, then I don't wanna be right!  :don'tcare:

Judging you...

i love it when fanning takes a stand on something non controversial like it's super controversial. like "yeah i saw pitch perfect, what of it? bring it on you guys, i'm not afraid. i mean i saw it and i'm cool with it so you guys can back off cause you're the weird ones. like why do you guys even have an issue with it? i mean, a guy can't see a movie with girls? you guys are weird. you guys need to grow up. you guys have emotional issues". meanwhile nobody has said anything and nobody would because going to see pitch perfect is completely fine and normal.

Seriously, guys, Kung Fury. It's the story of a cop who gets struck by lightning and bitten by a cobra at the same time to become Kung Fury, which is basically the same thing as becoming Steve Dave. It has time travel, dinosaurs, Vikings, and the Kung Fuhrer himself, Adolf Hitler.

Big Eyes. Really good! Based on a true story I had never heard of. Great actors and courtroom scene towards the end was hilarious.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I want to see Big Eyes, thanks for the tip!

Also, Daris sees a LOT of movies.  You guys ever notice that?  I mean holy cow.  How does he find time to do that while also taking care of his lawn?

watched GOON yesterday.  pretty enjoyable little flick.  for some reason i thought it was going to be heavier than it was, but i'm glad it wasn't.

Maybe I could interest you in one of Bread's mildly homoerotic fantasy novels?  They are actually quite good.

The Best Offer (2013)   :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: 1/2

This is a romantic-mystery-art-thriller with Geoffrey Rush featured in 99% of scenes, so obviously i liked it a lot. It was fun and kept me interested and I had no idea where it was going.

Good to hear, going to see it tonight.  It's at the end of its theater run, so have to watch it at 10:40pm :Ugh:

Saw Fury Road in 3d opening weekend, great non-stop action (except for goofy love scene development between the redhead gal and skinhead guy).

Ex Machina had great plot and tension.  Both great movies.  Ex Machina will be like Blade Runner in 20 years, people will look back at it and appreciate it more.  Like Blade Runner, Ex Machina was not a box office smash, but a very good movie that will age well.
