interested to hear what disappointed you about Birdman

Any motion picture concerned with the stage is bound to fail.

the subject of a motion picture is entirely irrelevant to its value/quality

I am headed to see "Get Hard" tonight whilst out of town for work, with colleagues.  I was told that is very filthy and crude, and might be awkward with co-workers.  I WILL BE THE JUDGE!!!

I mean, get serious, mocat. There are infinite subjects that a motion picture could be based on/around, that no matter the form employed, would be unwatchable.

Come on, man/woman. Let's cut the comedy.

Just because you saw The Class, about the french school system, and kind of enjoyed it and were surprised, doesn't mean that any old thing should have a motion picture made about it.

You know, guys/gals?

Chime in here. Speak up.

We can't quite hear you. A little louder, please?

Oh, you have a sore throat? Sorry, we didn't know.

Well get out of here then and let us get back to what we were doing.

Man!

Enough with this black text crap!

 :excited:

have you seen '71 yet poet?  i have such a hard time with those UK movies.  so hard to understand what they're saying without subtitles.  and a lot of those dang scots looked similar too.  pretty gripping flick though IYAM.

Poet Warrior,  "Get Hard" wasn't that good.  Will Farrell acts like a square white guy, and they show a penis a couple times.  About what you'd expect.  You are gonna want to just rent this one and watch it a home, don't bother going to see it in the theatre.

John Wick is pretty much just Matrix 4, but it's the role Keanu was born to play. And besides, Matrix 1 and most of 2 rocked. So did John Wick. They killed his dog. He got revenge. Sometimes simple is best.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Just watched Lucy.  started good and built towards a good finish and then just lost its boner completely.

The second half of Interstellar was very good, but you had to sit through the boring first half to get to it.

The Immitation Game. What a great movie. Quite similar to "A Beautiful Mind." I think it was more deserving of Best Picture than Bird Man.
