Has anyone seen Winters Tale?

Also, that Focus movie with Will Smith as a conman looks great!

Yes. It is worth watching for a certain cameo, but the storyline is befuddling. Crowe is way way over the top with his character which can be fun. It tries to be romantic, so it could be a good one to cozy up to. I definitely wouldn't pay more than whatever redbox is charging these days to see it.

They really should stop rebooting Spider Man.

The right thing was to let Feige's team do it.  The MCU is incapable of releasing a bad movie.  Even Ant-Man looks good.

Hopefully, by "Final Creative Control" Sony means, "We'll rubber stamp anything you do because our Spider Man movies suck and yours will probably be awesome."

Also, Spider Man in the Avengers.  :surprised:

Probably in the Infinity War saga!  :excited: :Woohoo: :Woot:

I was reading some rumors and there is a popular theory that the civil war storyline will last through three films - Captain America, Black Panther, then the standalone Spiderman. Which would be awesome because Spidey plays such a huge roll in the Civil War storyline. I am pretty excited to have Spiderman under the control of Fiege and a part of the MCU.

Rumors are also putting Logan Lerman as the favorite to take up the roll as a teenage Peter Parker.

I remember seeing someone in the thread say that they've seen some motion pictures, which weren't particularly good, many times, maybe around 50 or 100.

Why would anyone do that?

Isn't 3 or 4, at most, sufficient?

Saw 'A Most Violent Year' this weekend. Great #acting but it was pretty slow and uneventful.

Got halfway through Winters Tale last night before needing to go to bed. So far, a very interesting flick. I'm still not completely sure what's going on, but I really enjoy movies like that.

How can someone not like Nightcrawler? One of the best performances of the year.

jgylls performance. and the movie was meant to satirize that type of news reporting, you weren't supposed to like the characters or what they did.

Yeah, I get that. You don't have to be a hipster to understand that. I just kept hearing how amazing it was and I can't classify that movie as "amazing!" It was ok tho.

"Save your time" and "it was ok tho" do not, at first glance, appear synonymous.

I mean, don't feel the need to rush to it, but it was ok. Maybe I should have expanded on that.

Killer Mermaid  :star: :raccoon:

Was hoping for more.  Looked like it was made in eastern europe with a bunch of english as a second language actors.  Strange that they would be trying to make a movie for Americans like that.  With that and the ridiculous premise going for it, somehow it was still disappointing.  That mermaid only killed like 3 or 4 people which hardly seemed adequate.
