So I watched the Final Countdown on Netflix last night.  Was compelled by the missing Malaysian airliner story.  What an anticlimactic movie.  They're all geared up with a modern day (for 1980) carrier and they're going to preemptively attack the Japanese before their attack on Pearl Harbor...and then they just turn around and the movie ends.   :flush:

I watched All Is Lost on a plane this week. It was really really good, if you can handle very minimal dialogue and only one actor. Well actually I watched about 90% of it and then the flight was over, so I have no idea if he lives or not  :frown:

he commits suicide.  they show him getting "rescued" but it's his dying delusion.

The Grand Budapest Hotel. Just a fantastic movie that has a bit of everything, emotionally. A movie that never takes itself very seriously but at the same time has something serious to say and might move you to tears, unexpectedly.

If you like Wes Anderson movies, what the hell are u waiting 4?

Yeah, not as  funny as The Lego Movie, but super adorbs and still very funny.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Bernie! Pretty great. A lot of the interviews are actual townsfolk. Great job by Jack Black!

Watched American Hustle. Had some intense moments, but could have been an hour shorter and I may not have played with my phone half the time. Movies kind of suck.

Flight w/ Denzel.  Good flick - especially with all the vanishing airliners/Diego Garcia hijinx going on right now.
