Dune 2 - pretty, pretty good. Better than the first.

So good

Dune 2 was amazing. I had high expectations and it met or exceeded them. Great acting and the special effects were awesome, too.

Civil War was kind of meh.

Dune 2 is a must see where Civil War is more of a movie you can watch hammered late at night.

Wings of Desire

It's one of those movies you'll watch only once, but it's worth the experience.

I thought Dune 2 was not good. Very very cheesy.

Furiosa was great. Not quite as good as Fury Road, but still really good.

The Iron Claw (2023) - 3/7 unreal story and Holt McCallany rules as usual. despite that, the movie is just not good. the acting talents of jeremy allen white are wasted. the tall skinny british brother is not a believable texas wrestler. also zac efron's face is too weird, idk what happened there.

I think Zac's face is HGH and roids, I bet.  I'd do the good roads and HGH if I could get the kind of access he had, and had the cash he has.

No it's more structural. If you were born with a perfect face I don't think you'd turn yourself into a team America marionette

American Animal was incredibly entertaining.  True story about some Kentucky college students trying to pull off an art heist.  :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Monkey Man was a good time.  It had some of the best fight scenes that I've seen in awhile.  I enjoy how the Chiefs of Police in Indian movies all know karate.  I like to picture some fat American Chief of Police trying to kick people.

Ironclaw was really good. Too many emo takes ITT. Efron is just an absolute delight and mix in some Jeremy Allen White and it gets my motor running!

Great review, wacky!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

GODZILLA MINUS 1 is on Netflix and kicks all kinds of ass

So incredibly well done. And all kinds of interesting historical and cultural stuff because it’s set directly post ww2.

Just an awesome film probably because the Japanese made it and not Michael Bay

I thought it was really well done. Going into it I had no idea what it was really about so wasn't expecting it to be so depressing.
