Planning to watch this with spanish subtitles tonight. Supposed to be the most visually beautiful film ever.

i watched barry lyndon a few years ago, and i don't think i was prepared for how deliberately slow it was. it was absolutely beautiful, and apparently kubrick used only natural light/candles to light every scene. i will probably watch again someday.

It's pretty slow, but I love Barry Lyndon, it's a great story.

Yes! I just watched about 5 minutes of the video and instantly remembered how awesome the narrator is.

I knew of robocop as a kid, had friends with the toys, and am pretty sure I watched it.  I was amazed how violent it was when I rewatched a couple of years ago.

I remember it solely for the boobs in the locker room. (At least I think that's a movie with like coed lockers because future)
I remember that from starship troopers
Haven't seen Starship Troopers and I definitely remember this was before Starship Troopers came out. Maybe it happened in multiple movies! Wasn't ST PG13? Pretty rare to have boobs in one of those. (Source: 12 year-old me)

Well Vivarium was creepy AF. Pretty good tho.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Starship Troopers is a great film. Really really good.

It's based on a legendary sci fi book.

single book or series?

Single book, and it’s a very loose adaptation. But both the movie and book are fantastic in different ways. The movie should have sucked with those mainly b-list actors, and yet the campiness just works perfectly.

How dare you speak of Denise Richards that way.

Just watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes and it was better than I thought it would be. But not very good. They should’ve made more of the movie about Caesar organizing his people. It does a decent job of making a Maoist revolution seem both cool and justified which is pretty good.

The second one is much more about that stuff. It's also better imo.
