I had to attend multiple meetings in Topeka one summer and the office building was across from their Barrel and we ate lunch there every day. Usually a salad for me

the one time i've been was when i was pretty fresh out of college, i went on a work trip with a very old coworker and we ate there for breakfast one morning. it was like a typical midwestern grandma's house, just packed to the gills with a specific type of nostalgic clutter. food was not memorably good or bad

The last time we went there, it was because my in-laws wanted to eat there and I was kind of resenting having to go there. It was fine. There are probably 20 other places I would rather go but it is fine.
