Can't stand the slime ball grifter but I disagree with the decision. He was tried by the Senate and charges were dismissed. Jack didn't charge him with insurrection. I suppose we'll see what the US Supremes have to say.

The charges were not “dismissed.”

I’m curious what the Supreme Court would do with this. If the issue is interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment then I can see it. But just skimming it seems like the crux is application of CO’s election laws.

If the Supreme Court can overturn a state’s determination of who can get on its ballot then WTF do we even have the electoral college at all?

There apparently was a trial leading up to that CO ruling, btw. Not criminal but still evidence presented and everything.
