I was walking into the JV football game at my daughter's school last night and no less than 15 people complimented the hat the woman behind me was wearing. 2 people asked where they could get the same hat and the woman said that she had made it. Eventually, I had to turn around to see what the fuss was about. The hat said, "Let's Go Brandon". I get the joke but, holy cow, these people thought it was the funniest crap ever.

Honestly the Let's Go Brandon thing is pretty funny. Don't know if it's the funniest thing ever but it's pretty solid. It's the exact same as when the Frankqatz were playing #1 Texas in the OOD and the crowd was chanting, like, "Big XII refs suck" or something, and Bobby Knight said on ESPN that we were chanting "Good job, good job, great effort." If someone made a hat that said that I'd definitely laugh.

I’m probably expressing this clumsily, and I think I’m commenting a bit on similar statements you made in another thread, but I think it is sad that you aren’t able to feel comfortable going to an event for a sport you’ve followed for decades because of a bunch of redneck racist assholes, MAGA or otherwise. Just a depressing statement on our society, and one that I don’t have to regularly confront.
