Can't believe I forgot to report back about my PH Towers experience. Sorry bros. By far the most elite hotel I have ever stayed at in Vegas. (The others include some low-budg ones; of course I could afford a nice place each time because I am
, but sometimes you just don't want to throw your riches in peoples' faces like that.)
The hotel was super duper awesome. Went there with four bros for a bachelor party and the room was as big as my parents' upstairs. Just huge. As far as square footage goes, I don't think you can even count that high. Of course, we may have gotten a special deal because our friend who booked it got absolutely terrible customer service, bitched about it, and got us an upgrade--pretty sure they gave us two rooms for the price of one and just removed the door in the middle or something. Even if it had just been one room though, it still would've been massive.
Let's talk TVs. Because there were 8. One tiny one in each bathroom. Small ones in one of the kitchens. Large-ish ones in the bedrooms and one of the living rooms....and then in the main living room you can lower a screen over the humongous window and it becomes a dope projection TV. Full kitchen. Hot tub in bedroom. Dope showers. Humongous leather L-shaped couches. Pretty much anything you could need.
As for PH's other things outside of the room: Sports book seemed pretty good. Haven't had a bunch of sports book experience in my day but this one was busy and I won money on Kazzu beating Texas Tech so it's cool with me. Pool seemed pretty dope. Met some Australian guys there who had been blowing coke for three days straight and taught us lots of hilarious Aussie slang. (Ugly girls in Australia are called beanbag dragons.) There's a pretty decent shopping mall-type place (kinda like the Venetian) if you are unfortunate enough to go to Vegas with a lady. Pretty dece. food court although not the best ever. They do have this one quick sandwich place, though, called Earl of Sandwich...yum. Just yum.
Hotel is in kind of a weird place and not really on the strip, which is kind of a drag, but whatever. Our view from our room wasn't that hot (kind of a sideways/backwards view of a little bit of the strip). Overall though, very awesome place and would totally recommend, especially if you can call ahead to book and complain after getting terrible service and get an upgrade because of it.
