Welp. Made it home alive. Sat morning started betting on horses, after a couple losers my buddy and I hit a $3,500 exacta! I'll be honest I don't remember much else about Saturday. We did go to stripsteak where I bought everyone $90 wagyu steaks. We ended the night at Paris where I apparently put 1,500 on black. Won. Did it again. Won. Then my buddies pulled me away from the table. I only have foggy memories of this, but i woke up Sunday morning with almost  $5,000 in my wallet!

Went to PH brunch Sunday morning. Meh. Mimosas all morning long though!  Went to the aria. Played $50 pai gow, random dude next to me was betting $250/hand. Went to NY NY so my bud could play $5 blackjack. I wondered off and found a roulette table. Started betting black again and won another $500.

Caught our plane home, which was delayed 4 hours. Got in around 4 am.

I wish I knew how to bet horses like KCFD does... Dang.

Also off topic but any chance of doubleshift opening earlier on Friday? Went there for an early happy hour and had to slum it at grinders until 4pm.

Haha I just gave my friend $100 and told him to bet for me. We split what we won evenly.

Maybe, I dunno how much biz we'd get earlier than 4. Normal weekends it's dead until 5:30 on Fri. I'll consider it though!

I sent a couple sets of fans your way earlier Friday like noon ... They were both looking for breweries... So I felt bad when I got down there around 3 and saw you and border weren't open till 4...im sure grinders took care of them.

@gE minus KCFDcat: FTR, I never parlayed Wednesdays bet. I parlayed WVU and OU's bet on Thursday.  :curse:

@KCFDcat: Thanks for putting that in there for me.  We'll see you this weekend on my bachelor party if you're working.

Well, there is the shopping and the eating.  Walking around the Venetian, the Crystals shops or the Forum shops is always fun.

I would recommend going on a hike, but that time of the year is a little unpredictable weather wise.  It is one of the best times to go to Vegas though, in my opinion as it isn't super busy.

For the best buffet on the strip for Thanksgiving

I would say:

1) Aria
2) Wynns (if you are doing this, you are saying f the money and getting the VIP mimosa/limo package)
3) Mandalay
4) Bellagio

The key is to find places that have Alaskan king crab for no upcharge, good prime rib, any unlimited alcohol specials and any line cuts/reservations, although if you don't mind going early (4pm West time) then you should be ok.  But waiting in line with kids is terrible.
