Going to Vegas for bball conference championship weekend for my cousins Bach party. 11 dudes going, we went with two 4 room suites at the Wyndham Grand Desert.

Need some pro tips from the Vegas experts. What are the best sports books etc to go to?

here's a pro tip, don't waste any time watching college effing basketball while you're in vegas.  especially for a bachelor party, good grief
Oh ok. Next time I need advice on how to pass my time I'll be sure to call you.

I'm trying to help you have a good time bro

Bro, vegas is for gambling and partying.  It's not for sitting around in a circle with your ku buds watching the hawks play wichita st at the rough ridin' palazzo.

the plan for us is to spend some time during the day watching B-ball and gambling on some games, then do blackjack, poker, slots, whatever at night.

you cool with that?

hanging out and getting blasted at a sportsbook sounds like a lot of fun.

The Aria was great.  Nice room, cool casino, good eats, etc.  Free booze if you are gambling which was unexpected.  When we were checking out they were starting to shoot part of the new Bourne movie outside and in the lobby.  High fived lots of Royals, Chiefs, and EMAW peeps.   :fistpump:

http://www.ksat.com/news/houston-man-accused-of-having-sex-with-woman-on-las-vegas-ferris-wheel

Someone on Orange Bloods knows the guy and said he was in Vegas to propose to his fiancee....who he was not arrested with.  She apparently found out on the news when they got back to Houston.

I have been trying to talk SdK into heading to Vegas with me for the Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon this coming fall. I go every year, and it is almost always better to travel there with others.

Vegas seems like such a weird place to run a marathon. It also seems great. Both weird and great.

Running the Strip at night is pretty cool. I thought it would be weird too my first time but it is fun. 40,000+ running and thousands lining the strip.

Oh, wow. Just saw that it's exclusively an out and back on the Strip. That's pretty outstanding.

are there rules about running a marathon? if there are, i've never heard of any.  and vegas, that place breaks all the rules (if any do exist). i'd like to run the vegas marathon while riding a moped.  it'd be nice having the strip all to myself at night except for the fans cheering for me.

Just meant I'm not prepared to be away from the business for a weekend. A lot to do still.

I didn't plan it. Cousins bachelor party.

Weird because of the tourney? Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't see us getting a huge boost from it. Guess we'll see.
