I'm envisioning a bunch of bros cruising around vegas on these things for a bachelor party and it's just breathtaking to behold

It's way more reasonable to stay in old Vegas. The strip is exciting, but when I went last month, one entree was like $30 and a beer was like $12. I highly recommend spending time there, it would honestly even be worth your time to take a cab there for lunch everyday if you are staying on the strip. Also, all of the history around old Vegas is cool.  (I'd insert a gambling smiley here but there isn't one.. )

If you're going to Vegas in the next few weeks you might want to take some time to head over to The Riviera. They're shutting it down on May 4. Another piece of the classic "Rat Pack" strip saying so long.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

going to vegas this month. staying at nyny. thoughts? suggestos? anything interesting to do/see?

You might already know this, but if one of your goals is to get boozed up while not at the tables/ slots and you want to save money stop by one of the shitty convenience shops about a half block to the north by the Fatburger. They've got $2.00 24 oz. monster beers for most brands. High Life and Pabst are 99 cents.

I know  :kstategrad:, and you may be family tripping. Just a heads up.

Going to vegas with the GF next weekend, staying 2 nights and looking for some suggestions on things to do while we are there. My only experiences in Vegas are with my bro's where we binge drink and gamble 24/7.

She doesn't gamble much at all so specifically looking for interesting/fun things we can do during the day. We will probably go to the "shows" each night so I'm really just looking for stuff to do during the day besides go to the pool. We will be staying at Planet Hollywood.

Maybe take a cab downtown and walk around? ROLLER COASTER AT NYNY? Maybe a couples massage at the spa or something?

There's a zip line over Fremont Street, bungee jumping and roller coaster on top of the Strosphere, and an indoor skydiving place, if you are into that type of stuff. Shopping at Caesar's Palace, Madame Tussaud's wax museum.

Latest Vegas restaurant reviews of new places hit this weekend.

Border Grill / Caesars - Actually pretty good fresh ingredients.  This is the 2nd locale on the strip (first being Mandalay).  Had some temperature issues with some dishes but overall a fine option if looking for mexican on the strip.  3 Tacos

Mon Ami Gabi / Paris - I knew better than to go here but the draw of the patio was too strong.  Not horrible but nothing great.  2 Tacos

White Castle / Casino Royale - Always a good choice at 3am.  4 Tacos

Tom's Urban / NYNY - Okay beer selection, good view, food wasn't up to expectations.  2.5 Tacos

Fizz / Caesars - 2 hour bottomless champagne session is a good way to get the night going.  4 Tacos

Martorano's / Paris - Large portions but nothing spectacular food quality wise.  Good atmosphere for a group.  2.75 Tacos

Overlook Grill / Cosmo - Bottomless champagne, good views of the pool, fairly good food.  3.25 tacos

Centurion Lounge / LAS - In new D terminal.  Pretty solid food and booze choices.  Really quiet which was disturbing.  4 tacos

When I was in Vegas for the Final Four this year, the only thing I didn't get to do there that I really wanted to do was get a nice slab of prime rib.

MonAmi Gabi is my favorite breakfast place in Vegas.
