serious question - i've seen pics of several senators riding in coach. is it that hard to get upgraded now that full status flyers on friday/sunday flights can't even get out of coach? or is our electorate so stupid that politicians feel like they have to turn down upgrades so it doesn't look like they're living too high on the hog?

Pelosi's spokesman says she was planning to fly commercial -- with other congress members -- to Afghanistan for CODEL after Trump nixed plane. But spokesman says they heard from State Dept that the threat level had increased significantly since POTUS announced trip publicly.
