KU Karla tried to float buying season tickets for football next with KU Karl and he was having none of it. He reminded Karla that the Section 231 tickets for the KU vs NM State at the Sprint Center ate up the ticket buying budget for the next 7 months.

Yep. He’s a good get for KU. Will he ever get them above 6 wins? Probably not, but getting anything over 4 wins alone would be a minor miracle.

My KU friends can't stop bragging about his OC hire for the guy from Auburn, and the WR coach they hired right after he got fired by Matt Wells at Texas Tech. A pretty optimistic bunch. It's odd to hear KU football fans bragging again.

From what I read, Vanderbilt also wanted him.

He had a prior relationship back to high school days in Ohio with Miles. LM recruited him to LSU then, but he wanted to play closer to home so signed with Pitt.

KU Karl is pretty pissed about all this football talk and he just got the Intrust Bank Jayhawk Credit Card Statement ($500 limit) and he's about to inform Karla that Christmas Shopping season is O V E R! Also the bi-weekly trip to Johnny's PV is off until that thing is paid off in 4 months.
