Guys, I think we are going to make the NCAA Tournament this year. Our Cats are a p flawed team, but you have to believe that this team is at least better than above average NCAA seed wise. The were basically average last season and everyone is back. This is oscar's first real crescendo at K-State and it's not bad but it isn't looking like a great one.
I think the expectations set were out of reach logistically, but we're fans and we buy in cuz that's what we do. We want to go apeshit because our team could win the conference and/ or set itself up for a deep run in March. Can we get that done this year? Maybe.
How low does the rebuilding year take us? I don't see what help we get next season makes up for what we lose. Are we starting a Woolyesque B12 winning percentage in the grill next season? Maybe.
oscar limbo.
Perhaps they can sell tons of playing time, a recent elite 8 and a car or something for some ballers. How cool would it be to get a one-and-doner again? rough ridin' Michael Beasley 2.0. Hell I'd be through the roof getting a Bill Walker.
That reminds me how incredible it is that 2010 team was a legitimate National Title contender with nary more than an NBA cup of coffee on the roster until Rodney McGruder decided to become the most physically fit basketball basketball player on the planet. Is SR The Flush Jr. better than Sophomore Angel Rodriguez? Is Claws a better draft project than Rodney? Some NBA scouts believed X could be an early entry coming into the season because of a nice run in a tournament that is a crap shoot.
College basketball is exciting.
