Again the why comes into play, which may or may not be so obvious. Sooner fans wanted to change their logo years ago hence the bring the wood uniforms and helmets. They only wear them once or twice a year. Oklahoma State started the Pistol Pete logo years ago, which looks atrocious in my opinion. I associate the Pokes with their iconic OSU emblem. Modifying the emblem over the years has been fine, but the school does not need to continue with the changes, for change sake.

Does the royal purple dot have an outline around it? On one hand, it could be nice to have on some cats gear. On the other hand, it seems a little flashy.

I know of kids who at one point liked KSU gear because they thought the powercat looked a little like a transformers logo. Keep it until any cross-promotion with bumblebee is exhausted?
