« on: November 09, 2018, 04:21:08 PM »
Let’s say rbg croaked or retired tomorrow would ge moderates and leftists trade getting to name a moderate replacement for a boarder wall and security program drawn up by the pubs?

do people irl want a wall? I was certain that was just election year BS to secure the scared old white vote. like the caravan. no way should we or anyone else be paying for a useless texas border sized wall. it would be a monument to stupidity.

The other candidate in the 2016 election voted to fund a least part of an actual wall and at one time strongly advocated for a high tech virtual wall.

BUUUTTTT HILLLLAARRY!

You guys act like a wall is exclusively a MAGA proposition and historically, that's simply not the case.

63 million strong voted for a person who voted to fund a wall and wanted a wall of some sort.

Of course, if Congress would just do their job and reform immigration we could have the necessary border security and an easier path to citizenship undertaken through proper channels.  Not just showing up.

But . . . that's not what LibBot Nation wants since you're planning on millions of insta-Democrat voters.

Unfortunately there are idiots who he refuse to acknowledge a substantial portion of Mexico is not controlled by the government and run by extremely dangerous people.   So border security is important.   But Libbot Nation just plays the race card and doesn't call for its Congressional leaders to truly reform immigration, because that would mean a "victory" for Trump.

Most of your movement for starters, I believe Nancy and Chuckie have pretty much refused to even consider immigration reform.

Set aside the whackadoo Mormons and take in the whole story.

LOL, you say that knowing full well that most of the leadership of the Democratic party has flip-flopped on immigration repeatedly over the last 25 years . . . at numerous points standing up in grand speeches saying how people just can't show up, how they'll be sent back home, how we're a nation of laws.   Then all of that changed, your leaders don't give two shits about those people, it's all politics, they know a Banana Republic only benefits them and their political ambitions.

Oh, and eff those people who did it the right right . . . amirite?

honest question for you tubesock (or anyone on gE): do you legitimately believe we should build a border wall? I know there is a percentage of the population that legitimately does. I just didn't know (hope?) any of them posted here. and no, as a moderate I would't trade for a brazillion dollar self own.
