The scoop I have on Sean from WaManMeGo Bro is that Sean has never wanted the job.  Bro works with folks with spouses with connected positions at K-State.   Per them, Sean being coach is all Bill.
This is 100% true

I’d like you to speculate on why the eff Sean continues to allow this to disrupt the entire athletic department?

He doesn’t want to disappoint his father, it’s very common for men.

This is neither understandable or excuseable.  I blame Sean, and do not absolve him.

as time goes by, it is becoming more clear that we need a complete purge of the football coaching staff.....i would not retain a single one.

I think there maybe some talent on the staff but nobody will ever know because we have 2 DCs and 3 OCs, a special teams coordinator who is accountable to no one and a HC that won't hold anybody accountable.  Any good idea is compromised down to nothing and nobody has any authority to stop it.

while i agree with your premise, that is also the reason, in my mind, it is a safer bet to just let the new coach hire a whole new staff with whatever connections he has.

snyder gets "reasonable input" on the new coach.  he'll make them keep Sean, just like Prince had to do

i have serious doubts as to whether Sean is emotionally equipped to focus at the level it takes to yield positive results for Special Teams (or any other position)..... and not blaming/judging him, I mean, it's been a hell of a year.

Yea, I didn't mean to sound like I disagree.  If someone wants to sift through this staff an keep a body or two, fine, but I wouldn't be sad to see anybody go either.

I would be fine with Sean staying on as STC too.  I think he has largely done a good job in the past and could do a good job with a new coach that hold him more accountable than a 20 year old that wasn't on the field for 2/3s of the mistakes.

if we put Sean in charge of 105 student athletes, how many of those do you think he loses?

I thought it was common knowledge that Sean didn't want the job and never really has.
