I appreciate Bill for what he did and always will remember him fondly but am happy he's calling it quits at the same time.

Good person, did so much for us, happy he’s aware it’s time. Happy to recently hear Gene wants Sean gone too.

Just can't put words to how I feel.  On one hand, I'm grateful that he came to Kansas State and made us relevant from the disasters of pre 1988.

But on the other hand, I also am glad that he is aware that it's time.

Thanks, Coach.

Side note, I hope Gene isn't stupid enough to get Bert.

LHOFHCBS. He’s earned every letter of the acronym. Some disagree, but I do believe he saved K-State. He definitely had a big hand in taking us to our greatest heights. I’m forever thankful.

Hopefully you get to watch Cat football achieve even greater things in the future.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Fitz tweeting his “It’s time for Snyder to go” column sealed it for me. Dude wouldn’t be publishing that if it weren’t set in stone imo

After Missouri in 2005, I remember seeing grown men weep in the stands.  At the time, I didn't get it.  I loved Snyder, but didn't appreciate nor understand what the bad times can be like.  Figured everything would stay sunshine and rainbows.  I understand now what the bad times can be like and I hope we never return to that, change does need to be made though.  Thanks Bill, all the respect is earned.

"emotional" as in you're mad because we suck?   don't feel too bad for the multi-millionaire who has a stadium and road named after him and who has used his status as leverage against the university.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I'm afraid we're not going to even try to allocate our money properly to make a hire that matters.

Oh

I should have been more clear. I think this is more of a situation where Fitz wouldn’t bite the hand that feeds him or upset the apple cart if it hadn’t already been chopped off/ knocked over.

Snyder v 1.0 came to an end with the Fresno St. game in 2004, where Wyatt vision was complaining about the Bulldog players pushing the KSU team around after plays were blown dead.  Writing on the wall.

Tbh, the only reason I'm still even paying attention to K-State, and college football in general, is because of Snyder. I'll probably catch a few games next year, but if he's retiring, then it's time for me to move on, as well.

Thanks for the memories, Bill.

Fitz mentioned big donors behind the change.  They don't want to see their donation supporating a loser program and having to sit in their plush boxes watching us lose.
Money guys drive the bus not us peon rabble.
