I play real sports, not try to be the best at exercising.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I wrote an article for the collegian back in my college dayz (  :gocho: ) that broke "sports" down into three categories.  First there are actual sports including bball, baseball, football, soccer?, hockey etc.  Then there are competitions.  These are anything that judges make the call as to who wins.  This includes figure skating, gymnastics, skateboarding, etc.  The last cat. is races.  This includes everything that is a race.  Swimming, running, crawling, driving, but also includes who can throw things the furthest and jump the highest. So track is a race and not a sport.

Where are bowling and golf on this spectrum?

These fall into the rare group called single player sports.

track is like the more Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) version of nascar.

before race-
track coach: run really fast, in a circle, like you see the nascar guys do in their cars
player:  ok coach!

after race-
player: gosh coach, i lost again, i wonder why i never win?
track coach:  because you're not very fast and never will win because you can't make yourself faster.
player: this crap sucks!

now folks, the scenario i just outlined isn't meant on a slam on the track players because we've ALL done track.  now, go run your little asses off and hope you wake up faster tomorrow than you were today!!

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Because he thought hiking was a sport.

(best impression of a father talking to his 2 year old)

now now little 64, those so called "sports" are actually games! You see, they employ elements of "SPORT", such as running, jumping, throwing, etc... They also employ elements of strategy. Games, little 64, games! They are derived from the first SPORT of track and field. OK, you can run off and go play your games now!

Remarkable young person. Moved from Sharon Springs KS and now going to school at Rock Creek (I don't think she competes with the Rock Creek Middle School Track team).
Seems like she would be on course to go to the Olympics at some point if she can stay healthy mentally and physically:
