Can we win 25 games or more and finish 1 or 2 in conference? The last time Oscar had a team like that, it crapped out in the first round.

Yes...this.  We took advantage of UVA getting run out but couldn’t take advantage of the second opportunity.  Really frustrating....feels like we missed out on a golden opportunity.

FWIW - I will be pretty upset if we’re not at least within a game of the conference championship going into the final week of the 2018-19 season (assuming we keep all our guys). I also think a Sweet 16 is a very reasonable expectation (I would have expected the same even if we got bounced by UMBC this year).

If both those things happen, I wouldn’t expect oscar to go anywhere for the next 5 years.

he won't miss the tournament without mass defections or injury next season, which would give him the ol' reset button again like he did after he ran of Foster. Only this time he has an Elite 8 under his belt to give him a little more leeway.

one thing is it seems like attendance is way down from the "Cult" years and I will be interested to see if it changes much after this run
