i've actually come around to thinking that she's not as likely a vp pick as it once seemed. i'd bet more on harris or rice or some less prominent politician or public servant. it would surprise me a fair bit if his running mate isn't a black woman.

I don’t think she will drop out and endorse Joe or Bernie. I think she’ll stay neutral saying she’ll support whoever the nominee is.

Bloomberg’s support probably would mean more in the general. Currently wondering if he negotiated himself a spot in Biden’s cabinet prior to dropping and whether that was the play all along.

Bloomberg's support would also necessarily not be done in coordination with Biden's campaign, which is a plus if Biden's campaign doesn't really exist!

So as of right now, Biden leads the Bern 566-501. But there's still a lot of delegates to be apportioned in California and Texas, and a few remaining delegates to apportioned in several other states. I think by the time the counting is done, Biden's lead will have shrunk to between 20 and 40 delegates.

All things being equal, the March 10 states, which include Washington and Michigan, should favor Bern overall. So he could be back in the lead in a week. But this doesn't account for Biden's new momentum and Bloomberg and (soon) Warren dropping out. So my guess is that Biden will continue to slowly expand his delegate lead to a somewhat healthy plurality by convention time.
