i remember it.  didn't think going after biden was a good strategy at the time and i'm glad they abandoned it after just the one interview.

I'm not enthusiastic about any of the candidates anymore. I guess Joe, for entertainment value.

Bernie v. trump was going to be a blast but Biden is a decent second.

Pete was a decent darkhorse because there is literally no way trump doesn't go to gay slams at some point

I meant in office, as in someone I have to listen to for 4 or 8 years. Bernie and Bloomberg would be very boring.

I don't think Trump will debate whoever the nominee is.

You think Trump will skip the debates? Interesting. I don’t see Trump passing up the free airtime.

He'd debate Biden for sure, Bernie 50/50, he'd avoid Bloomie.

sys, my god man, have some self respect. How in the hell do you go running full speed ahead with someone who positions himself as a movement, an iconoclast, then just settle on Joe Biden?

So I've listened to Biden make the media rounds the past two days. He's had favorable interviews given the wave of good news. However, and I want to be clear I'm not saying this for effect, he legitimately might be dumber than Trump. I've heard five interviews and the guy simply isn't capable of conveying any clear policy position at all.

I have no idea what his plan is for the economy, Obama apparently put him in charge of the stimulus.
He continues to talk about Obamacare even though it's already been completely stripped down and what's left of it will be ruled unconstitutional in 2021.
Foreign policy? "The foreign leaders know me and like me." Never mind many of them have changed the last 4 years or will change soon enough.
Education? Nothing
Gun control? Nothing
Criminal justice reform?
Campaign finance reform?
We know he isn't in favor of eliminating the filibuster.

I know that I've been clowning Bloomberg, but he's absolutely a better candidate than Biden, there shouldn't even be a question about that. I can't believe what I'm seeing from the establishment democrats, it's astonishing. They saw four years ago that Hillary couldn't turn people out so they've decided to go with the same playbook, but like 50 times dumber. I already knew Klobuchar was a boot licking opportunist. Pete and Beto surprise me though, I guess it shouldn't they both see $$$ that they currently don't have by going all the way establishment.

If Bernie doesn't win this nomination, and they won't let him with a plurality, the progressives should leave the party and join me in going green.

I went to Twitter to try to find a clip of Anderson Cooper interviewing Bernie tonight, I wanted to post him saying that he'll insist the DNC adopt M4A are the convention if he's the nominee. I was stunned at how incredibly angry and dim, Sanders supporters are on twitter. Nearly all of them complained about Bernie being treated unfairly during this interview, some making thinly veiled homophobic slurs, some saying Cooper is red pilling Bernie, it's amazing. Look at this interview and tell me if you think Anderson Cooper is mistreating Bernie. Watching it earlier tonight, I thought the interview was great and didn't feature any grandstanding by either man.

i said when beto dropped out that i'd write in beto unless it seemed like my vote might have some electoral consequence, in which case i'd vote for the surviving moderate.  unfortunately, the race is still very much in the air and i have to vote for biden.  i'd much rather write in beto.

You don't think that Bloomberg is a better moderate though? Aren't you an environment guy?

i don't think so, but i haven't looked at them that carefully.  bloomberg as a 0.4% chance of winning and biden has a 40% chance.  i may as well write in beto as vote for bloomberg.

Maybe Liz will become disgusted with the piling on for Joe and get behind Bernie. Too little too late after Supy Tupy?

I'd rather her stay in, but doesn't seem likely she'd win over progressives, I could see moderates warming to her.

I think the moderates are stuck with old AF Biden at this point. Agree that she would be a comfy mod but she’s dead in the water.
