I definitely hated Bush more than most conservatives hated Obama, but there is no way I hate Trump as much as Bush. If you want a real hot take, I think the right wing hated of Bill Clinton was more than Obama.

Was just coming to share this. I honestly respect the hell out of the work that Pete, at age 38, has put into becoming a great politician. In life and work, you succeed by emulating successful people and successful practices. Can’t begrudge that. Hard to imagine the amount of time Pete spends in front of the mirror rehearsing his Obama. Must be a lot. Anyway, pretty interesting.

It’s really impressive how quickly the left is moving to normalize Bernie Sanders’ brand of socialism now that he’s the clear front runner. Like, it took less than a week. I still don’t think he can win because he’s not going to attract the independents he needs to flip a few key states, but I also think enough voters will stick with the “anybody but Trump” train to at least make the election close. This isn’t going to be the landslide I first thought. Ugh.

Comrade Sanders might as well put the hammer and sickle on his campaign logo and just run with it at this point. 

Oh and  at the cheaper drugs angle.   The PDPRA has been stuck in Congress for months.

I hate Bush for lots of reasons. Mostly because of Iraq and torture.  I am aware the Obamas and many liberals think he is fine.

I disagree that the GOP base is mostly awful people. I don't think that's a fair or nice thing to say. I think a whole lotta people are fed up with media bias and politics as usual and willing back a massive jerk to put a thumb in the eye of "the coastal elites." Along these lines, I'm also not sure that Jeb! or Rubio or Cruz or any of the other Pub candidates would have won in 2016. Maybe it took a Trump to break through. As you know, I didn't support Trump in the primaries and I still don't like him as a person, but I feel like there may be a method to his madness.
