I had never heard the term Democratic Socialism until Bernie used it. I’ve always just considered it to mean whatever Bernie’s platform is.

That does remind me of a stupid article I read about how Bernie was wrong to hold up places like Denmark as a model for his policies because they’re not actually socialist.

All of the terms and stuff are a bit pointless when you are talking about the context of the US son 2019. I mean Richard Nixon or Hubert Humphrey would both be well to the left of Trump on tons of issues.

I think it's relevant if a longterm/medium term goal is to end capitalism. but I get the idea if the short term policies are similar what's the real difference. I guess it seems like a big difference to me.

Well, Bernie is 78 years old. Nobody that old has long term goals.

they actually bring a shitload of market research with them to go with their shitty project management stuff. that's what you irl pay for. Like, "your 4 biggest competitors do X, Y, Z". That's why everyone who ever works there is NDA. They have shitloads of data on what every fortune 500 is doing everywhere.
