i'm not sure these data are great arguments for sanders and klobuchar's electability, but i do think they're pretty good evidence that warren has electability concerns.

i'm kinda halfway either way on harris/booker.

1. Again, it's April, of 2019
2. She won 60% of the vote in Massachusetts, 6 months ago. The same percentage Hillary got in 2016. The junior senator got 62% of the vote in 2014. Least anyone think statewide elections in Massachusetts are layups for democrats, they currently have a two term Republican governor and Warren unseated an incumbent republican governor.

There is far more compelling evidence that she's just as popular in Massachusetts than she's ever been.

i don't think outperforming your state lean is everything.  like, manchin outperforms his state lean by more than any democrat anywhere and no one thinks that means he's the most electable democrat nationally.

still, i don't think it means nothing either.

Damn Biden seems to be getting quite an Obama boost. Also looks like his shoulder rubs won't matter much
Trump has lowered the bar for inappropriate behavior.

a lot of her proposals are pretty stupid.  people just seem to be excited that she generates them at a prodigious rate.

I was definitely doing a lot of projection but it sounds like not letting people use SNAP to buy unhealthy foods. Which is bad.

Definitely not good. She should just quietly remove all mention of it and never speak if it again and everyone will forget about it in time.

I think in general, it doesn't seem like Warren has a very good campaign team. Her campaign launch was crappy, her website sucks, and she could probably just have ridden the wave of the student loan debt policy and speak about everything else in a non-specific manner. Plus they've allowed so many folks to believe she's unlikeable which is pretty absurd.

It’s so unfathomable that people think the person I like is unlikeable!

What is bad about it? I mean, I have come around to the idea that straight cash is the most efficient use of the government’s money, but if you are gonna have a program where you allow some things and not others, why not cut out the junk?

she was floundering until they decided to brand her as elizabeth "i have a plan for that" warren, the ideas candidate.  i don't think it's a great strategy, but it's working a lot better than what she was doing before.

Ha! But seriously a lot of people were surprised by her performance in the cnn town hall and she the people event, including myself and our Republican friend dLew12. I can totally see why people thought Hillary was uptight, unnatural and awkward (or unlikeable) but you didn't seem to hear that narrative about her as much as you have about Warren, who in my opinion is much more naturally warm and friendly and is a better speaker in general.

FWIW I also think Mayor Pete is extremely likeable. He's also gay!

The college plan announcement the same day as the town hall was well timed. May have been dumb luck though.

Yeah, Liz is someone I could have a nice conversation with, even we disagree on just about everything.

Would you vote for Trump over Warren?
