His willingness to do it shows lack of judgment, which one could conceivably contribute to youth. But more importantly, his inability to ride dirty cleanly shows lack of competence.

that's backwards.  if the election was held today, trump would lose and it wouldn't be particularly close.  but two years is a long time and he might be in better shape when the election actually occurs.

I'll defer to your alleged knowledge on these issues, but it's not clear to me how the mid-terms would map to a predictive model of a general election + electoral college. Seems to me like the economy is Trump's prize pig, and if it tanks, his newly found blue-collar, working-class base won't be energized. But I'm no wonk.

the generic ballot polls are basically the same as pres approval polls, and would almost certainly be very predictive of a presidential election.

(separate thought) people seem apt to talk up harris as candidate.  i'm convinced most of them have very limited exposure to her and simply approve of her resume and/or identity.  she's an extremely boring candidate who radiates whatever the opposite of charisma is.
