Trump hates loafer, especially bloviated self serving loafer politicians. This Senator was not on the stage because he is black. He was there because he is a worker willing to do what needs to ne done. How dare does Trump honor people of color who work to better our nations and their communities says the liberal guardians of blacks and peons. These scantimonious loafers are peaved that their guardianship is being threatened. How dare Trump treat individuals with honor for what they do. The guardians believe they must keep all people in a collective herd of dependent victims. This Senator needs to move to Kansas so we could vote for him.

I would argue that Trey Gowdy and Nikki Haley are not "POS republicans". It is possible you don't agree with their policy ideas, but they aren't purposefully obtuse, ignorant, racist, or evil as defined by Sys.

This thread is probably more for public figures, but I would toss my hat in the ring here. Mostly because I am a registered republican but IMHO I am not a POS.

I think that is an actually admirable thread to have. It is possible you were doing it as a joke, but it is a good reminder to see that not all republicans are Trump clones who agree whole heartedly with all of his decisions. A large chunk of the party publicly disagrees with him regularly. It is interesting to follow the different primaries that compare heavily pro trump pubs running against pubs that keep themselves separate from his rhetoric. It is important to remember that if he is a one term president that these elected officials will be around after he is gone.

I feel like that muddies the insult. Johnny Congressman who sits in a committee that seems to get nowhere on a bill that constantly changes because Trump is unpredictable and never makes it to the floor because it would never pass is not on the same level as Trump or his group of POS buddies at the top. We might need a POS spectrum for this thread. 1 being they have done some things that feel a little POS like and 10 being a full blown case of POS.

I struggle with that. Besides my parents and in-laws (Olds) I have yet to meet someone who leans right and whole heartedly approves of everything Trump is up to. I would blame it on the divisive nature of the political system as it exists in the present.

That is an oversimplification and most definitely inaccurate. But my only argument is that the surveys results are misleading and that it is possible the demographic they are surveying is skewed or the question is misleading. Which all sounds like I am in denial. Maybe I am, or maybe the numbers don't say what many in this thread would assume they do? Sucks that both parties are overwhelmed with such shitty agendas and there is still no viable third party option.
