I'm not an MLS guy, though I gather that Fielhaber is very good there. But why the uproar of him not on the national squad? And why so loud right now? Who do people think he should be playing over? Not necessarily saying he isn't deserving, more curious to hear other side.

Imo, Feilhaber is the exact player who is missing from the squad. He is a natural #10. Jurgen plays Bradley there who is a natural #8. Feilhaber has had the best two year stretch of his career and is widely considered the best American player in MLS at the moment. A midfield of Feilhaber, Bradley, and Beckerman would have been deadly.

I like Diskerud, but up until this last week his play has been very meh. He's suffered from a lot of the same switching/tinkering Bradley has, but I think he's a promising guy for the future. He looked good this week. Maybe JK has found the right way to use him and Bradley together. Your post about Fielhaber makes sense tho. I know he played well in South Africa. For whatever reason, Klinnsman doesn't seem to like him. Odd situation.

Rubin and Payne crap the bed. Some great penalties too though. Hyndman, Zelalem, Arriola (who is quickly becoming a personal favorite of mine).

Will be fun to watch these kids move up to the U23 level together. There is a lot of talent there and they play very well together.

I'm as big of a Hamid fan as there is, but the USMNT Hamid era may not last very long with Steffen next in line. The dude is amazing and only 20.
