so i learned today that the rankings actually do kinda matter when it comes world cup time because the top 8 are seeded so that they don't have to be in the same group. is it realistic to think that we can be top 8 by 2018?

enough of my rankings obsession. i'm really excited about this past week, maybe the most excited anyone has ever been about a friendly.

i'll admit i don't follow the rankings very closely (i know it's cliche, but truly nobody does), but top 8-10 is a pretty natural breaking point between the "really good teams" and the "good teams".  15-25 usually seems to be where we fall, with the occasional surge.  wins like this week are obviously great for the team, not a huge deal for rankings tho.  that stuff's all 100% computerized (unless it's changed), and i think friendlies are the bottom of the barrel as far as movement goes.

pretty much if you kick complete ass in WC qualifying/confederation's cup, you're in a good spot

the last two friendlies will give us a bump of a few spots in the rankings. Smashing dicks in in the Gold Cup will help more tho.

Guys this Klinnsman bandwagon is getting pretty full. Better get on now  :driving:

Also, why would he not bring up Zelalem for at least GC group play? Baffling

do not want to make the same mistakes with him as we did Green. I like him in the youth system.

Prevailing thought that Green's call up hurt development? Or made him entitled? I'd probably say both.

He's definitely entitled. Could argue that it hurt development.

I'd like to discuss the number of fist pumps people got in when Wood hit the winner.

Was going to try to watch on the dvr without following while at work but I couldn't do it, I fist pumped hard AF at my desk when I saw the tweets and then after I watched the clip of the goal I fist pumped hard AF again

The date for the new election is July 20? Or that's the date they're going to set a date?

isn't there some BS rule FIFA has to wait 3 months between elections?

The rule is it can only happen at an extraordinary conference or some crap like that and that happens in December and June
