FIFA president elections still happening as planned and Sepp will still win. No re-vote for 18 and 22 WCs and now I bet the U.S. doesn't get 26 or 30. Not worth it.

First time reader and poster ITT, but wow! What a rough ridin' disaster! Every major sports organization has had its share of scandals, but FIFA really went balls to wall on this one.

And I'm not sure that this hurts our chances of hosting in 26. That tournament has to either be in Africa or the Americas.

Lulz at screwing over us host cities and than using US banks to facilitate that corruption.  Amazing they are digging in on keeping Russia and Qatar.

Lol at FBI directors using sports analogies in their presser.

I read that Visa is threatening to pull sponsorship.  That's the only way FIFA can be hurt is by losing sponsors.

I was listening to an BBC interview with a rep from a developing nation and it was really weird because they referred to Sepp as their Uncle in the football world.
