Man, I hated the crap out of that article. It seems like the author went into the researching and writing looking for a certain narrative and he just didn't get it. The only thing serious that AO did wrong in that article was not keeping that lady's letter internal. She kind of seems full of crap to me but they still should have not shared that letter. The rest of that racism and sexism obviously sucks but that's going to happen whenever you have a group, that isn't an AO thing, not a soccer thing, not an America thing, not even a sports thing. Yes, AO is certainly broish but what the hell do you expect of a group who has a party the day before each match and the day of before and after the match. Sports fans in general in this country are white and male because the country is primarily white, duh. That guy from PVA pointing a finger at AO should be ashamed of himself. Mexican fans have the bar lowered as far as possible when it comes to politeness, warmness, and tolerance of other races and cultures. The rest of the crap in that article is isolated petty bullshit that no one cares about. Who really cares about when and why the official bar gets changed?
