we support the club team, and the MNT. Pretty pathetic showing for the WNT. Time to drop the whole Soccer Capital of America bullshit.  Would be surprised if they(WNT) came back anytime soon.
Tickets were cheap. I'd be there if I lived in KC. Would have been difficult to choose WNT over Royals yesterday though.

I didn't think they were cheap enough for casual fans. I'm also certain that US Soccer is aware off the poor timing/luck last night's scheduled game. I'm also very certain that these non US matches would be received similarly anywhere in America. They don't watch women's soccer in the countries they are from certainly there wouldn't be expectations for Americans to turn out in thousands to see these tiny CONCACAF nations play women's soccer.

$55 for 4 games is pretty cheap. :dunno:

That entire post was about the casual fans complete disinterest in 3 of matches. There are approximately 17 people in America that truly view that as 4 matches for $55.

1-0 nearing HT. Alex Morgan stretchered to the sideline. USWNT is garbage'y.

@JeffKassouf: Same left ankle that kept Morgan out for seven months end of last year into this spring. #USWNT

I was at a party and some studs had it on the TV.  One of them turned the music off and yelled for everyone to come in and watch the replay.  We went absolutely nuts!  What a goal

The only intrigue involved with this qualifier is if T&T can qualify for the world cup, it would be an amazing story and they are one win away. At worst they have qualified for a playoff against a South American nation for a trip to Canada. Maybe they can get more than $500 from their country now.

T & T Update

My ladies lost to the rough ridin' ticos (Costa Ricans have really chapped my ass the last 24 hours) tonight in a damn shootout. They will have to come up with a very improbable win against the Mexicans to get directly into the World Cup, otherwise they will be in a playoff.

So the Trinidad government has decided to give each player and coach a $50,000 bonus. That's awesome for them but the obvious question is if Trinidad has that much money why the eff did they send these women to 'merica with 5 hundred rough ridin' dollars?
