he is one of the few people i have seen not calling for Cody Cropper not getting a ticket to Russia.

Yeah. He's getting a lot of attention, but like EPB, he's still an unknown. None of our young keepers went to Brazil. All oldish and experienced. Interesting thing to me was Sean Johnson over Hamid. It's pretty much neck and neck, but Hamid is definitely the hot name at the moment. Steve Clark is quietly one of the best in MLS.

On top of Olympic qualifying (and Chicago Fire'ing), my biggest beef with Sean is that rough ridin' lazy eye. :curse:

Pep and Jose have both been quoted to saying they would want to manage the USMNT before iirc.

I don't remember Jose saying that but remember Pep. Would love either. Give 2 WC cycles to each.

found the Jose quote he said he would like to coach in the US, but said he could not coach the NT unless he coaches the Portugal NT first because "they have been waiting for me for a long time"

I could see Jose at Chelsea for 3-6 more years, Portugal for a cycle or two and a stint in the US before he retires.

He'll be missed. Team captain Jay Demerit will likely announce his retirement from the Whitecaps this week.

somebody please explain this facility to me.  Is this going to be the national headquarters, or just one of many facilities.  Like, how often will the National Team practice here?  How often will JK be here?  In a general sense, what is the purpose of the facility - if it's not the home of the national team.
