Diego Fagundezu has been rumored to be working towards citizenship. Has youth caps with Uruguay

Fagundez is pretty damn good. Wonder if he'd be a midfielder or forward. Who is the third?

Also Darlington Nagbee is working on citizenship. He is Liberian I believe. Neither are of the quality of Z-Man and Jul-Dawg but would be good guys to have in the pool

Most MLS analysts say Nagbe is the most talented player in MLS. Legit

Maybe I am underrating them. Have read both are working towards US citizenship. Nagbe won't be seeing any world cups with Liberia so he is an easy get. Diego may be tougher if Uruguay shows senior team interest.

They've both already said they would like to play for us I'm pretty sure, but who knows. You're probably right saying that Julian and Gedion are better.

I can't believe he's 24. He's been famous for like, 12 years

I know, it sure seems that way. There's a legitimate chance he plays in 2 more world cups

Goalkeepers: Guzan, Cropper, Hamid;

Defenders: Garza, Johnson, Besler, Brooks, Yedlin, Chandler Cameron, Palmer-Brown Gonzalez, Packwood;

Midfielders: Gil, Corona, Trapp, Bradley, Shea Nagbe, Kitchen, Diskerud, Green;

Forwards: Altidore, Johannsson, Boyd, Agudelo

http://www.si.com/soccer/planet-futbol/2014/07/02/usa-2018-world-cup-roster

I think I overlooked Cameron. Was thinking he'd be too old, but 32 isn't too old for a center back.

One thing I will say about this is the midfield only has one defensive midfielder (Bradley). Diskerud and Rowe are sort of deep-lying playmakers (more Rowe than Mix), but neither of them can do what Beckerman or Jones did. I like Cameron in the midfield, but who knows if I will when he's 32. I'd be willing to bet money Trapp is on the roster. If not, makes the camp. They mention O'Neill as a midfielder, but I think his best position is center back. Same thing with Okugo.

Also, I see no need for 5 forwards, especially when Julian is considered a midfielder. And did we not learn our lesson not having a backup for Jozy (Boyd)? Boyd will be four years better. He's gotta be on the roster. Unless Jordan Morris is the backup. I know nothing about him. I'm sure they're right that Dempsey could be on the roster, but I'm personally ready to move on. I may feel differently in four years.

                Guzan
Johnson, Brooks, Besler, Garza
               Bradley
    Yedlin, Diskerud, Green
     Johannsson, Altidore

I'm hoping Brooks transitions from LCB to RCB (I think he's better suited to be a RCB anyway). Garza could be that trusty long term fullback we've been missing since Cherundolo. Could see Yedlin/Johnson switched. Could also see Agudelo starting in place of Johannsson.

I want to get rid of the whole 2-3 defensive midfielders bull crap. Especially 3. Let's rough ridin' attack teams and win the World Cup.
