I badly want Omar to be good, but he's garbage at this level. The worst ball-watcher ever. Would almost rather see Besler/Goodson. Or eff, even Cameron. Cameron looked great last time he played for USMNT, and he's been tearing it up in England. Granted he doesn't play center back at Stoke.

I'm not even a little bit worried about how Matt does on the big stage. I have confidence in Goodson and Parkhurst.

While our back line would lack size, I'd be fine with this:

Fabian, Besler, Parkhurst, Cameron

Parkhurst plays center back for Columbus, and he's tearing it up.
