Outside of parlaying a couple good years at SIU into inheriting the best roster in the country at Illinois, oscar has never gone to the tourney more than twice in a row. I'm not sure we need to put our seatbelts on for some kind of wild ride. #BIDers (myself included) were in general wrong about him being a bad coach, and you are wrong in thinking that he's a good coach. Everyone wants to pin him to something other than average, but that's what he is, average. There's a reason there's a million articles about whether he's a good or bad coach, because he's neither, and that's hard for people to accept.
