Time to boycott New Mexico

From failed governor Bill Richards, no less. Anybody wonder why this hasn't made any main-stream news service?

Quote
ALBUQUERQUE - Gov. Bill Richardson has directed the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department to start reporting violent juvenile criminals who are foreign nationals to federal immigration authorities.

The agency has not been reporting them to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement since 2006, when then-Secretary Mary-Dale Bolson suspended a state regulation requiring CYFD to do so, according to a copyright story Tuesday in the Albuquerque Journal.

That regulation required CYFD to report all foreign nationals entering its system. The rule was in place when Juan Gonzalez, a Mexican national who's now 20, was accused in 2005 of raping a 6-year-old boy and molesting a 3-year-old girl.

CYFD spokeswoman Romaine Serna says the governor's directive resulted from a recent case where Gonzalez is accused of molesting a 6-year-old girl at an Albuquerque gym.

I was thinking about boycotting New Mexico anyway, anytime I stop in Raton or Clayton on the way to Colorado their restaurants are possibly the slowest places on earth

Once I stayed in this motel called the Budget Inn in Gallup, NM.... the toilets were on a slope so you had to hold on while shitting.

I was already boycotting the Best Western in Grants. Pulled back the sheets and found a used Kleenex.  :barf:

Don't be fooled by the "New" in New Mexico.  It's just as crappy as regular Mexico.

Actually my grandparents have gone to that hot air balloon festival thingy in Albuquerque several times, but other than that they can't think of a reason why anyone would want to be there.

Santa Fe is really cool.  Food is incredible.  But have fun at the Mall of America!  No dirty Mexicans or Indians there!

Once I stayed at a hotel in Stillwater, OK called Quality Inn and I made the joke that it must have changed ownership because I saw some workers out front adding a huge sign that said "LOW" to the top of the already existing sign.  My dad threatened to make me pay for my own room.

EDIT:

The state is handing over illegal immigrants to the federal government for deportation, just like AZ!  :runaway:
