They would be dumb to not go hard after him. Winning at Toledo and Ames would seem to translate well to Nebraska over going after weird hires like they did with Callahan and Riley.

I'm surprised Nebraska is that low in coaching salary for Riley, and not that much more than ISU is paying Campbell.

I think I posted $4m on KSO as the minimum figure we need to advertise the job for to attract candidates (rather than preemptively picking from the lol pool of like 5 questionable dudes with KS/Snyder ties) and select the best one. 

Looks like maybe we need to start at $5m.

No, 3 to 3.5 will be fine. PJ Fleck was the highest paid new hire last year and he was at 3.5. What's more important for our new hire is what we set aside for our assistants, right now they're well paid.

When he's been good, he's good, but when he's been bad, he's been real bad. I like WVU Rich Rod. Michigan was a crap show and the Arizona experiment has been all over the map. Probably too inconsistent for our likings.
