but how about the entire world shitting on the GOP economic platform

like the only consistent and discernable policy position the GOP holds just got laughed off the world stage

The descriptions I have heard of Truss is that she is basically Reagan and Thatcher's conservative lab-created policy love child and, after she tried to implement the most Trickle-down thing in decades, got bounced with jet burners.  How else can you view that other than absolute rejection?

She was the leader of one of the most important and powerful countries in the world and lost her job almost instantaneously upon stating her policies.

What does unverified mean in your mind and how can a piece of paper that is being sent to an intended recipient be unverified?

Yes, markets sent a clear signal on her policies. That is not the entire world. I would say the opposition to her plans has more to do with the UK's budget situation than with the content of the plan. I don't think the US would face a similar response from markets if something similar were enacted here.

There is also a lot of talk about budget cuts from the Sunak. This is something the GOP has talked about. Do you think the pound will sink if these cuts are implemented?
