This is disconcerting KSU.

KSU is too partisan to care if the candidate is a real life POS or not.

Well, I'm not so sure.  He did call him an bad person.  And it's not like he voted for him.  I'm holding out hope.

For everyone's sanity, Montana is a heavy "vote early" state. I think I heard more than half the ballots were in by mail before the altercation even occurred and there is no way to change that vote. So him winning isn't really a sign of anything besides how he was viewed vs the competition pre-incident.

Not surprised that anti-lifer KSUW encourages acts physical violence against people he disagrees with.

Of course he's an bad person. Congress is a like a big playground for rich assholes. I'm not celebrating his win - he's a scumbag. I am pretty amused that the Dems couldn't even beat this.

If you lived in Montana, would you have voted for him after the incident?

No. It's one house seat. I wouldn't vote for this prick just to protect one seat. (Wouldn't have voted for other dude either).

He has now "apologized" to the reporter for what it's worth

I guess you missed the part of the thread where it was reported that most of the voting was done prior to the assault.

And also very popular with the type of person that would consider voting republican in the first place.

I know nothing of the Dem candidate but Gianforte was embattled enough in his own state he shouldn't have won if the Dems put up anything better than a complete loser.

Could this finally convince liberals we need to severely curtail early voting? Nah, probably not.

Oh, I've never heard this talking point before.  I didn't realize early voting was frowned upon by the right. How is it more susceptible to voter fraud?

Based on this thread, it sounds like early voting is actually been a talking point of the left.

But, words

Keep your grubby hands off my early voting.  I am not slumming it with the common folk on Election Day.

No crap. I would more than likely not bother voting here (R's when anyways) if i had to do it in person. It's already a big enough hassle to fill out the ballet and then walk to the end of the cul-de-sac to put it in the mail box.
