Heard about this quite awhile ago, but just saw their first tweet this morning; a new meat market is moving into the old Willie's Bar & Grill. Supposed to be a meat market that "supports Kansas farm families and builds community."

Anybody know the folks opening this? Really hoping they do it well.

Funny story for me at least. I meet my sister and her now husband there for a ksu away game. They had been there a while, food, drinks, etc. We watch the game and after I say I'll get the tab. They insist on getting it, but I end up getting it. 150 dollars. I had to pretend I wasn't shocked. What a day.

Bear in mind I'm not a ksu grad and this was 7 years ago.

That place was amazing for me. Their wings were amazing (they had a special on them. I believe Wednesdays), First remote radio show with fitz, my first red head, graduation party in the pub, etc. Just a damn shame.
