Early in the 2nd half, we were up 57-47. We scored points on 26 of the 32 Possession we didn't commit a TO (we had 11 TOs) They couldn't stop us unless we gave the ball away

This made me very happy tonight. Some of the calls were very wtf. Collins didn't impress me much.

I enjoyed our scramble offense that led to myriad layups more than anything, but the embarassment of riches supplied by those refs was tough to overcome.

That's fair, but it felt like the majority of the game was pretty ridiculous. I was even complaining openly about the officials which I rarely do; several of the "moving screens" they called on us (compared to what Wake was doing on their end) were just terrible officiating. I truly think if we had typical officiating that we see in a Big 12 game we probably win that game by 20.

Agreed, we didn't play the best defense, especially in the second half, but that first half shouldn't have ended with us up by only 4. WF was basically apathetic and down right giving no effs about guarding anything inside of 6 feet of the basket. We were at least giving them a defensive challenge, even if we got caught a few times on 3 pt defense. WF was constantly getting bailed out with rather ticky tack fouls, at least to their credit they hit their fts.

I'm surprised it wasn't just a common foul, but I've seen worse calls. When you look at it in slow motion it sure looks like he swipes at the ball, just grazes it but fails to have an impact, and then for a split second out of instinct/frustration actually grabbed (like, got four fingers around) the ankle.

Like I said, it happened fast enough it's hard to tell intent, but I'm pretty sure that's what the refs were thinking (probably on top of the fact that they owed KSU at that point).
