Sounds like the search committee has had a lot of applicants and have had 10 people they have/going to have interview. Then the committee will recommend three. From what I hear Veatch is part of the 10 but highly unlikely to get the job. S. Snyder doesn't want the job. I guess a lot of really good outside applicants applied as well. Shooting for an announcement the second or third week of April.

I am a long-time viewer of GPC but an infrequent poster due to my situation but to calm a few posters about the committee process plus input to the committee, I can tell you as fact that John Currie was forwarded to Kirk Schulz along with other names and Schulz had his eye on Currie the whole time for the hire. I can also tell you that the committee has met with all the coaches including coach Snyder plus there have been follow up individual meetings with coach Snyder for his thoughts. The hire will be President Myers decision after vetting from the committee so let the process play out.
