LOL at "If you're in Kansas". Acts like people all over Kansas are a short 30 minute drive from Manhattan.

He better be taking this time to try and get ESPN to pick it up for a 30-for-30 piece (if that's possible)
I don't think this has any way of not making 30 for 30.

Will watch. Still waiting for the 30 for 30 after we win the whole damn thing.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

That does say part one, so there has to be a part two. Also, what is the process of a documentary making it to a 30 for 30?

Dunno. Our story isn't good enough for a 30 for 30 without a natty imo.

I would agree with you, but there have been a handful of stupid full length 30 for 30 projects that the LHC Bill Snyder Story would be better than.

Agree.  There needs to be a crowning achievement for the climax.  Without a natty it's just a good story, not a great one.

Although, something in the opposite direction could work, too.  Some sort of devastatingly sad ending that yanks the rug out from beneath it all would make for a compelling story.

I mean there are like a bunch of scenes to shoot yet
This is a real thing, though.  Like, if he wins another Big XII or goes to the CFP, that just won't be in the documentary?  Will be very confusing to people watching it waiting for the ending.

They'll just recut the end like they did with that Jimmy Fallon Red Sox movie with a voice over montage.

I don't know why people insist there must be a championship for the payoff, if the doc is good it doesn't need a championship to finish it off. There have been 94 30 for 30's shot, 9 of those had the featured team win a championship and not all of those 9 had the championship as the conclusion.

I really enjoyed Last Chance U and *spoiler* it doesn't end in that manner either.

yeah, most of the more intriguing docs end with no championship

Iirc there was a 30 for 30 about a KU fan buying a book. So I don't think a NC is a prerequisite.
