Every true KSU fan Greg has a streak of optimism in them. Maybe our ag background. I would not be surprised if they sneak a victory. Don't let these mean toothless dogs scare you away. I am glad we have you as a poster. Dish it right back. At least you don't crap yourself if we would beat the Bareasses.

A small part of me died (gave up) when oscar was hired.

Pretty much, as my new name suggests.

Though there still remains a remnant of hope though I think that small bit of hope will soon be gone, just as Frank's residue of toughness wore off a season or so into oscar's tenure.

I miss toughness and consistent effort.

I haven't quite given up yet but my levels of zeal and ability to GAF are running low. When the TCU game ended I just sort of mumbled "WTF man" and turned the TV off. Didn't even yell or anything.

All of us would have preferred a 11-7 mark and playing in the 8vs9 game in the Tourney.
If we go 9-9 and get in as a 11 seed or Last 4 in, I will still take it.
I still like this team more than the 13-14' team that went 10-8 and got a 9 seed.

If we lose these next 3, the margin for error is so very little. I think we would have to win 5 of 6 and win a game in KC (that could be vs WV, or vs Isu/Tcu if we are the 4vs5). It's gonna suck if we are at 4-8 having to do this, but I will probably stay with this team as long as our effort level doesn't take a dive.

I gave oscar a chance for the better part of three seasons, against all rationality. Midway through the third season I lost any capacity to root for oscar. I've been rooting for his swift removal ever since.
