The smart thing, not saying Trump is smart, would be to do it his last day in office. That way Manafort is only looking at 2-6 years.

Mueller tossed the Cohen stuff to someone else a long time ago because it wasn't related to the russia investigation. The Russia investigation is still going on. Good to see ol' law and order kdub back tho
