Texas can't shoot. They don't oboard. And they aren't exactly creating havoc (turnovers) which is supposed to be Smart's thing. Cats by 10.

So what steering method do we use on the Longnhornies.  Quick sharp knike technique.  Use cord crushers.  Emasculator bands to make 'em squirm.  A butterknife slow torture appoach?  I hope we are quick and deadly.  I don't want to sit through a nail biter tonight.

The bench showed up and contributed a whopping zero rough ridin' points. Really blessed heading into conference play.

Mack tried to fight Wes in the handshake line.  Mack fouled Wes at the end of the game, Wes laughed at him and pointed at the scoreboard and then Mack was yapping at everyone in the handshake line and had to be restrained.  Was pretty great.

Our coach needs to go back and crawl in his trash can and get taken to the curb.

What bafoon goes to a stall game with about 4 to go. I don't thing we made another FG as our points came from the FT line.

We missed a lot of jumpers tonight. Outside of Dean, we missed 73% of our shots.
Despite that, we were up 12 pts with 3:00 to play because we really frustrated Texas on offense.

On the other hand, we shot about a million more free throws (little bit of home floor advantage probably), and hit at an unusually high clip from the stripe. We could have very easily have lost this game...at home...to the worst team in the league.

this texas team reminds me of a scott drew team full of pogo men, except with no guard play/actual basketball skills. i came away thinking we should finish about 8th/9th in the confy and won't win on the road.

How do steers cry.  Moo-who.  Foul troubles will hurt us if don't get Bullnuts back.  Too many Hot Horndog minutes.  The thing I like the most was you could tell the Cats were not awe struck by the Showmoos.  Flush has  to get untracked.  The crowd was good sized but restless.  We played almost better going small.  Claws did great on offense and guarded Allen well.  To me Claws looks faster this year.  Westicles and Deathbite did well breaking the Tixass press and scoring.  Honcho.Sneed.and Dogbite helped us through trouble before half-time.

We made 78.7%. Our main 8 guys shot 69% and underperformed in the Non-Con IMHO. I really believe this team can shoot 75% in B12 play.

We also shot well below our season average from the floor. So, if you're going to take the retardo position we should have lost for shooting 8% below our season ft%, you are required to take the position we should have won by 20 for shooting 15%/10% below our season avg from the floor.

Yes, once again offensively, FTR and FT shooting are the only things we did well or above average.
We had a very poor night shooting. Our TO% was about where we want it. Our OR wasn't great.

On defense, we didn't look good for first 4 minutes, then played as well as we can hope for the next 33 minutes.  0.75 PPP & 29 TO% forced with 3:00 left in the game is something to be proud of.

I don't think we will shoot the ball this poorly on 2pt/3pt FGs the remaining 8 home games. I sure hope we don't. But we are 1-0
